Rebranding
2019



California State Parks need a new identity to represent the image. The current identity communicates the history and feels official, yet it is old fashioned, and lacks attraction to young people. The new identity modernizes it while still keeping the California’s identity—bear.

Using a bear paw as the mark, the logo communicates adventure and fun. Apart from the original illustration style, the geometric shape presents the identity as bold and young.
